2. Data collected and purposes

Depending on how you use the site, the following categories may be processed:

  • Contact: name, email, message content (purpose: respond to your request).
  • Account: email, first and last name (purpose: manage your “My account” area).
  • Orders: delivery details, order lines, total and status (purpose: process and track orders).
  • Cart: products, quantities, prices (purpose: order preparation).

4. Cookies and trackers

The site uses cookies essential to its operation. Non-essential cookies include audience measurement — conducted in-house and via the external tool Qwebty (a provider established in the European Union) — and marketing cookies. These cookies are only placed after your consent, according to your choices.

5. Local storage (browser)

Some data may be stored locally on your device (e.g. cart contents while browsing, cookie preferences). Data relating to your account, orders and newsletter subscription is processed and stored on our servers.

You can export or delete your data from the « My rights » tab in your account area, if you have an account.

6. Retention periods

  • Contact messages: up to 2 years, unless a longer legal obligation applies.
  • Cookie consent: up to 6 months (indicative) and renewable when you act again.
  • Account and orders: for the duration of the contractual relationship, then intermediate archiving in line with legal obligations (accounting, disputes).
  • Cart (local storage): until you delete it or clear your browser.

7. Recipients

Data is intended for A4CM and, where applicable, strictly necessary technical providers, in particular:

  • Emailing (confirmations, notifications, newsletter): Resend.
  • Online payment: a secure payment provider, which processes payment data on behalf of the association.
  • Order shipping: Boxtal and the carrier partners it works with.
  • Some of these providers may process or host data outside the European Union. Where applicable, this transfer is governed by appropriate safeguards (European Commission standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision). For hosting details, see the legal notice.

8. Your rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability where applicable. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Audience measurement

This site uses SEO Monitor, a self-hosted audience measurement tool, to produce anonymous traffic statistics (pages viewed, where visits come from, time spent, device type). This data is used solely to keep the site running properly and to improve it.

A random identifier is kept in your browser for up to 13 months. Your IP address is never stored: it is only used, briefly, to infer an approximate country and city. The data is neither combined with other processing nor shared with third parties, and is kept for up to 25 months.

  • Data controller: Nicolas GOUJON (Qwebty, sole proprietorship), who operates the site on behalf of the association Aux 4 Coins du Monde (A4CM), the site publisher.
  • Purpose: audience measurement of the site (anonymous traffic statistics).
  • Legal basis: legitimate interest; processing exempt from consent under Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and the CNIL guidelines on trackers.
  • Data collected: pages viewed, traffic source, time spent, scrolling, device type, browser, language, approximate country and city. The IP address is not stored.
  • Retention: up to 25 months for statistics; up to 13 months for the browser identifier.
  • Recipients: no third parties. The data is hosted on an OVH server located in France.
  • Your rights: you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, objection and restriction, which you can exercise via the contact form. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

In line with the CNIL guidelines, this processing is exempt from consent. You can nevertheless object to it at any time: stop measuring my visits.
